Boat trip in Typhoon
RAIN
We booked a trip today to go to the local marine park. Woke up and it was just grey and raining solidly. We got to the boat and it got heavier. Went into these magrove swaps and it got worse and worse.
We did a treck through a bit of jungle for an hour or so but the wether was stupid, the trip would have not gone ahead in Thailand but this aint Thailand. We were all wet through, me D and a canadian family with thier you girl who does not stop talking, she was OK but she could talk for ever. The boat broke down and we floated for an hour or so. Got off did some stuff, replaced boat engine, got in boat, boat ran aground, pushed boat to deep water, went back up river and the rain got worse that I have seen in my life. Boat broke down 10 meters from the jetty for 20 mins. great. Got wetter. Dees feet are in bits due to the flip flops not being great jungle hiking shoes. I was barefoot!
Mad , wet day. Just dry now and its stromy.
Apparently there is a bad Typhoon blowing accross the region and we are getting the tail end of it. All safe but sloppy wether.
