Dee and Fionn carry on Bussin it
Lo all,
Back in Bangkok today, Monday 18th. After I wrote the last entry Dee and I went out that night on the town in Pattaya and had a mad one. We started of going to a blues bar but that was dead so we stumbled into a Thai Kickboxing tournament crossed with a snake show, It was mad and it seemed like we were the only westerners in there, gangs of Chinese and Japanese tour groups kept going in and out. We though these fighters were just putting on a show but some younger lads came out and proceeded to knock each other sensless, the sound of foot contacting skull is pretty hardcore, even from a few meters away!! Then a dude with a Cobra would come on between bouts and try to get him self bitten in varoius ways, twas quite cool.
After that we staggered into an other bar that was playing live rock music. We stayed there for a few hours, the thai band were really good and somehow new we were Irish and did whisky in the jar, followed bu Ronan Keeting but Ill forgive them for that.
Yesterday was a write off, we were supposed to hit the road for Bangkok but only made it as far as reception to pay the bill for that day and then back to bed for TV and munchies for the rest of the day, fek it , it will probably be the last time we can get that kind of comfert for a while. Hot Water is kinda cool.
So this morning we got the bus from Pattaya, glad to be out :) We just arranged our Visa's for Cambodia and Vietnam which should be through for Thusrday evening which mean we can leave for Cambodia the next morning, really looking forward to that. Visa's pricy though, 3000 Bhat each.
Tomorrow we are of to the floating market, rose gardens and the Corcadile farm. Should be cool.
Day after that we are doing the Bridge over the River Kwai jazz so also should be fun.
I enabled comments so anyone want to add anything in, fire away (cheers John)
