Kolcatta - Leaving

We arrived back in Kolcatta early in the morning and made our way by taxi through chicken filled streets back to Sudder St. We checked into a hotel with hot water and slept for a while. After a shopping trip to the market for essentials we thought we would try making our selvs feel better by going to Peter Cat's, one of the posh restraunts in town. We went and had dinner that night which was nice but not all it was cracked up to be.
The next morning we checked into a nicer hotel we had been staying at and went to the Indian Museum. It was Sunday so there was not much to do. We did notice lots of Spanish people who had started working at the Kids school, Arnab had been talking about his 'Spanish Armada' of people. We were going to head over to the school the next day.
Unfortunately being back in Kolcutta does nothing for the health and Dee started getting a chest Infection while I was still not all well. We decided that we had to get out of town to someplace where you are not breathing in black air. So we got Tickets to Varanassi, the holy city on the Ganges. We say a guy from the school and explained and then went for the train tickets for that night.
We managed to get the train out of there that evening, gladly, and headed to Varanasi. We were both wrecked but kept up but the most disgusting human being I have ever seen in the next bed. What he did not do to himself I don’t know and his snoring was mental.
We made it in one piece to Vasanassi the next morning.
