Leaving Varasasi

Time to get out of here. Although our hotel is really nice and directly above the action so you can see everything this place still stresses you out. As soon as we leave the hotel we are lost within 2 minutes and then you just get hassled to bits by touts and worse. We got train tickets to go to Agra on the night train but had to hang around the hotel all day after checking out at 12, it was not to bad and the people watching here is crazy. From our balcony we can see the whole river bank laid out under you and watch the funrel pyres, holy men, cows, beggers, children, pilgrims, touts, tourists, dogs, cats, goats, cows, boats, and temples. I got some little binocolurs which are very uselfull here.
We left the hotel in the evening and got a rickshaw to train station, we paid a 'boy' to carry Dee's bag as its well heavy with all the stuff she has bought here. Got to the train and found our beds. For once here the train was empty apart from a scattering of people and very quite. We were sharing our birth with 2 people from England who gave us a beer and we chated for a few hours about how mental India and related some experiances to each other. They came through China, Mongolia, Tibet and Nepal and they said nothing prepaired them for Inda when they entered it.
You can talk for hours about this place. We crashed about 11 and no snoring ment we slept all night, yay ; )
